Setup the primary mesh node
The first node you set up functions as the essential node, while the rest areas the secondary nodes. If it’s not too much trouble power on one Mesh first connects the other Mesh after you set the first Mesh to the internet on the Apps.
- First, make sure to turn off your modem and exile its battery.
- Then with Ethernet cable connect a LAN port of your modem. This node is the primary node.
- Now reinsert the battery and turn on your modem.
- Further with the connector to connect the basic node to power source, here you will see LED turns to green and shine rapidly.
- Now wait for about 40 seconds to complete the setup till the LED turn to green slowly.
Connect the primary node to the internet
- Firstly, visit to Wi-Fi network list from your device and select your SSID and enter its password.
- Here SSID and password are set on the bottom label of node.
- Now open the wifi App and stick to on screen instructions to address the essential node to web.
Once the essential node is connected with web, you will see the LED turns to solid green.
Setup the first Brostrend mesh node on App
- First open the Wi-Fi app and then setup wizard displays, click on “setup”.
- Here recognizes your web association and enter data as instructed by web association type and click to “Next”.
- Then work unit is connected with web and the app continues to following stage.
- In case your Internet connection type is PPPoE, then enter your PPPoE user name and password and click “Next”.
- In case your web connection type is dynamic IP, click “Next”.
- Now set mesh unit wireless network name and password and click “OK”.
Once you see the LED of mesh unit turns to solid green that means your mesh unit is successfully connected with the web.
Connect the secondary Brostrend nodes to the internet
- Firstly notice your all node must be at high and at open territory.
- Also ensure the wall in between any two nodes must be less than two.
- And confirm that your node must be far from electronics. Example microwave oven, induction cooker and refrigerator.
- Here use other power adapters to connectors to connect the left secondary nodes to wall socket; you will see LED light to solid green.
- Now hold on 40 second and your secondary node is connected with another node then LED turn to flickers green.
- Led status if you see the LED turns to solid green that means your connection is good. If your LED turns to solid yellow that means your connection is fair. If your LED turns to solid red that means you are disconnected.
